I'm a guy who doesn't really know what to do with myself at cons. While my first love is going to the arcade to play DDR, I enjoy anime. Most of my favorite anime come from the mid/late-00s, but I'm still very much into the Fate franchise. Most importantly, I prefer manga to anime, but my tastes tend to be pretty spontaneous depending on what kind of mood I'm in when I pick it up. Sometimes a light comedy, other times a really dark and depressing story, maybe a mindless action series, or something else entirely (I've gotten bored and picked up a shojou manga on impulse at least once).

Perhaps I've been a bit too anti-social over the years. I'd like to get used to dealing with people again. It can be hard trying to meet people my own age when anime conventions, especially in the twin cities, skew so young.
